Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
At Wando we take the privacy of your data very seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide to us directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, and business name when you create an account. We also collect service usage data, including processed messages, response statistics, and system settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Wando service, process WhatsApp messages with artificial intelligence, send you service-related communications, and comply with legal obligations. We never sell your information to third parties.
3. Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit and at rest. We use PostgreSQL as our database, with enterprise-grade security measures. We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
4. Sharing Information (Providers)
We only share information with the service providers necessary to operate Wando: Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) for sending and receiving messages; OpenAI for AI-generated reply suggestions and audio transcription; MercadoPago for payment processing; and Google (Sheets / authentication) when you enable those integrations. SendPulse is used only on legacy accounts. All providers are subject to their own policies and process data solely according to our instructions. We never sell your information.
5. Gmail Access (Sending Email on Your Behalf)
If you choose to connect your Gmail account, Wando requests only the "gmail.send" permission (send email), which allows messages to be sent from your address when you compose or trigger them from the panel. Wando does NOT read, import, or store the contents of your inbox, and does not access any other data in your Google account beyond your email address, used to identify the connected mailbox. Wando's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: we do not use that data for advertising, we do not sell or transfer it to third parties, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models. You can revoke access at any time from the panel (Disconnect mailbox) or from your Google account's security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions). 6. WhatsApp Messages and Your Customers' Data
WhatsApp messages processed through Wando (including the contact details and conversations of your end customers) are stored in your account to generate AI replies, statistics, and campaigns. With respect to that third-party data, you act as the data controller and Wando as the data processor: we process it solely on your behalf and according to your instructions, and it is your responsibility to obtain the consent of those contacts. You may request the deletion or export of your data at any time. Messages are not used to train third-party AI models. Retention: if your account remains inactive (expired trial or subscription) for 90 days, we notify you by email and, after a further 7 days without reactivation, we permanently delete your conversations, contacts, and files.
7. Your Rights (Law 25,326 — Personal Data)
Wando operates under Law 25,326 on Personal Data Protection of the Argentine Republic. As the data subject you have the ARCO rights: Access (to know what data we hold), Rectification (to correct inaccurate data), Cancellation/Erasure (to delete your data), and Objection (to object to certain processing). You may exercise them free of charge by writing to admin@wando.online or from the panel; we respond within the statutory deadlines (10 calendar days for access, 5 business days for rectification/erasure). The AGENCY FOR ACCESS TO PUBLIC INFORMATION (AAIP), the supervisory authority under Law 25,326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims regarding non-compliance with personal data protection rules (argentina.gob.ar/aaip).
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for the operation of the service (authentication, preferences). We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you by email of significant changes. Continued use of the service after the changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
10. Contact
