Plans and subscription
Wando starts with a free trial so you can try it with no commitment. After that, you can move to the paid plan to keep using it with no time limits.
14-day free trial
- It lasts 14 days from when you create your account.
- No credit card required to start.
- You have access to try the product and see if it works for you.
Pro plan
When the trial ends, the Pro plan lets you keep using Wando as usual. Payment is handled through MercadoPago.
Manage your subscription
- 1Go to the admin panel → Subscription.
- 2Check your account status and the remaining trial days.
- 3Activate the paid plan whenever you want so you don't lose access.
If your trial expires, you'll see a notice to activate the plan. Once a day you can manage everything from the Subscription section.
What happens when your trial expires
It's the doubt that comes up on day 13. When the 14 days end, the account is not deleted and you don't lose your contacts or conversations: access to the product becomes limited and you see a notice to activate the paid plan. None of that happens on its own or overnight without you knowing.
If you activate before it expires, you continue without interruptions. If you activate later, you also don't start from scratch: the setup, the templates and the contacts you uploaded stay where they were.
- The 14 days run from when you create the account, not from when you connect WhatsApp.
- You don't need to add a card to start the trial.
- When it expires, access becomes limited until you activate a plan.
- Your data is not deleted for not paying.
How you pay and in what currency
Payment is handled with Mercado Pago. Plan prices are in dollars: Starter US$9.99/month, Pro US$19.99/month and Enterprise US$49.99/month. The updated details live at wando.online/pricing, and it's worth checking there before deciding, because plans can change.
There is a 25% discount on the first month. If you're going to compare against another tool, compare the price from month 2 onward, which is what you'll be paying most of the time.
- Starter: US$9.99/month.
- Pro: US$19.99/month.
- Enterprise: US$49.99/month.
- 25% discount on the first month.
- Payment via Mercado Pago.
Which of the three plans is right for you
There is no single answer; it depends on how many people handle WhatsApp and how much message volume you manage. The practical rule: if you are the only one answering, Starter is usually enough; if there are two or more people in the inbox or you want active campaigns, look at Pro; if the team is larger or the volume is high, Enterprise.
Before paying, test the real workflow during the trial: send test messages, approve AI suggestions, build a template and see if the team uses it. If the team does not adopt it within two weeks, the problem is not the plan.
A concrete example: a veterinary clinic in Caballito
A small business, two people at the front desk and a veterinarian who also answers. Before, they had WhatsApp on a single phone and messages got lost on weekends.
They started with the 14-day trial. In the first week they connected WhatsApp with Meta's official API, loaded the frequently asked questions (hours, consultation prices, whether they handle emergencies) and let the AI suggest replies. The front desk person approved with one click or corrected. Every correction became a learning.
On day 12 they activated Pro because there were two people using the inbox. They did not change tools or migrate anything: the account went from trial to paid and they kept working the same way. What they gained was not free time, it was not losing inquiries on Saturdays.
Common mistakes when choosing a plan
The most expensive mistake is paying for the biggest plan before knowing whether the team will actually use it. The second is letting the trial expire without having tested the real workflow: if in 14 days you didn't connect WhatsApp or upload a template, you didn't test anything.
Another mistake is comparing only the monthly price. Also look at whether the plan covers the whole team, whether you can use campaigns, and whether the statistics help you make decisions. If a plan doesn't let you do what you need, it isn't cheap.
- Paying for Enterprise without having tested the product with the team.
- Letting the trial expire without connecting WhatsApp.
- Choosing based on price rather than number of agents.
- Not checking wando.online/pricing before deciding.
What to look at before switching to paid
Before activating, check three things: that WhatsApp is connected with Meta's official API, that the inbox has at least one person from the team using it, and that you have approved or corrected AI suggestions for at least a week. If those three things are in place, switching to paid makes sense.
If any of that isn't in place, it's not that the product fails: it's that you haven't tested it seriously yet. The trial exists for that, not for staring at the screen.
How long it takes for everything to be working after paying
Switching from trial to paid doesn't reset anything. The account is already set up: WhatsApp connected with Meta's official API, contacts uploaded, templates created, and AI suggestions trained with the responses you approved or corrected during the trial. The status change is administrative, not technical.
The only thing that can take time is the approval of new templates (HSM), which Meta resolves within up to 48 hours. Templates you already had approved keep working the same way. If you uploaded a template on the 13th and activate on the 14th, the campaign can wait a couple of days; it is not a problem with the plan.
The charge is processed by Mercado Pago. Crediting depends on the payment method you use, and that is handled by Mercado Pago, not Wando. If the payment is still pending and the panel still shows the account in trial, wait for it to be credited before writing to support.
A detail that surprises people: the 14 days run from when you create the account, not from when you connect WhatsApp. If you created the account on a Monday and only connected on Thursday, you lost three days of trial. That is why it is best to connect WhatsApp the same day you register.
- Configuration, templates and contacts are not affected when switching to paid.
- New templates can take up to 48 hours to be approved (Meta's timeframe).
- Payment crediting depends on Mercado Pago, not Wando.
- The 14 days run from the creation of the account.
What happens to WhatsApp messages when the account is in trial
During the trial, WhatsApp is connected to Meta's official API and messages come into the inbox normally. The AI suggests replies and your team approves them with one click. That does not change between trial and paid.
What you should be clear about: WhatsApp conversation costs are charged by Meta, not Wando, and they vary by country and by type of conversation. They are not included in the plan price and you cannot calculate them from memory: check Meta's official documentation for your country before projecting how much you will spend per month on messaging.
If at some point the account ends up with limited access due to trial expiration, messages that arrive at your WhatsApp Business number are not lost: they stay in WhatsApp, but they do not enter the Wando inbox until you reactivate. That is important if you have active campaigns or scheduled auto-replies configured.
- Meta conversation costs are separate from the Wando plan.
- They vary by country and conversation type; check Meta's official documentation.
- With a limited account, messages do not enter the inbox until it is reactivated.
How your team finds out that suggestions need approval
Wando is human-in-the-loop: the AI suggests and a person from the business approves. That means someone has to be watching the inbox. If no one opens it, suggestions stay there and the customer waits. There is no magic: the product does not respond on its own without supervision by default.
So this does not become a bottleneck, take advantage of the features you already have: multi-agent so several people can see the same inbox, scheduled auto-replies to cover outside business hours, and audio transcription so you do not have to listen to every message before replying.
AI learning also depends on this: the more suggestions you approve or correct, the better it suggests afterward. If no one touches the inbox during the trial, the AI learns nothing about your business and moving to a paid plan will not give you a jump in quality.
- Someone on the team has to approve or correct the suggestions.
- Multi-agent, scheduled auto-replies and audio transcription help cover.
- The AI learns from corrections: if no one uses it, it does not improve.
Full example: a clothing store that starts with Starter and ends up on Pro
A clothing store in Rosario, two people: the owner and a salesperson. They create the account on a Tuesday and connect WhatsApp the same day. They upload contacts from a Google Sheets spreadsheet, set up two templates (one for order confirmation and one for a weekend promo) and start using the inbox with AI suggestions.
The first few days, the owner approves almost everything without correcting. The salesperson corrects several size and shipping replies. Those corrections become learning. On day 9, they launch the first campaign with the promo template. On day 12, they activate Starter because at that point only the owner was using the inbox intensively.
Two weeks later, the salesperson starts using the inbox every day. That's when the limit appears: they need both of them in at the same time. They move to Pro. They don't migrate anything, they don't lose history, they don't reconfigure templates. The plan change is done from the dashboard and the team keeps working the same way.
What they gained wasn't a magic sales number: it was not losing inquiries on Sundays and having size and shipping replies always at hand. That's what you should evaluate in your own case before choosing a plan.
- They started with Starter because only one person used the inbox.
- They moved to Pro when the second person needed to log in every day.
- There was no migration or data loss when changing plans.
How to downgrade your plan or cancel your subscription
If the plan you chose is too much for you, you can change it from the admin dashboard, in the Subscription section. Changing plans doesn't delete contacts, conversations or templates: it's a change in access level.
The details of how the change is applied (whether it affects the current cycle or the next one) and the cancellation conditions are at wando.online/pricing and in the Mercado Pago flow. Don't rely on memory or this article: the terms can change and the place where the current information lives is the plans page.
Before downgrading, check two things: how many people access the inbox per day and whether you have active campaigns. If you downgrade and the team gets locked out, the account is no use to you. If you have campaigns running and you downgrade to a plan that doesn't include them, they get cut off. Better to plan the change for after the current campaign ends.
- You change your plan from the dashboard, under Subscription.
- No data is deleted when you change plans.
- Check your active agents and campaigns before downgrading your plan.
- The current terms are at wando.online/pricing.
Configuration errors that look like plan problems (and aren't)
There are three things people confuse with plan limits that are actually configuration errors. The first: WhatsApp not connected with Meta's official API. Without that, there's no inbox, no suggestions, and no campaigns. It doesn't matter which plan you pay for.
The second: templates rejected by Meta. If a template doesn't comply with Meta's policies, it isn't approved and the campaign doesn't go out. It's not a problem with the plan or with Wando: it's Meta's policy. Meta resolves approval within up to 48 hours, but if it rejects it, you have to fix the text and submit it again.
The third: nobody on the team watching the inbox. If suggestions pile up without being approved, the customer waits and it looks like the product doesn't work. It doesn't work because there's no person on the other side, not because the plan is small.
If the problem continues after checking these three things, then it's worth escalating to support. Resolution time varies by case: it can be a quick adjustment or something that depends on Meta, and there's no guaranteed timeframe.
- WhatsApp not connected with Meta's official API: nothing works, no matter the plan.
- Template rejected by Meta: you have to fix it and resubmit it, it's not a plan limit.
- Nobody approving suggestions: the bottleneck is human, not the plan.
- If all three are fine and the problem continues, escalate to support (the timeframe varies).
What to do if your team doesn't adopt the tool during the trial
This is the most common scenario and the least talked about: you pay, but no one on the team uses the inbox. Before moving to a paid plan, run an honest test. For one week, ask every person who handles WhatsApp to use the Wando inbox instead of their phone. Write down how many times they went back to their phone and why.
If they go back to their phone because the AI suggestion isn't useful to them, that's a sign the AI needs more corrections. If they go back because they can't see the inbox, it's an access or habit problem, not a product problem. If they go back because the workflow doesn't fit, that's when it's worth reconsidering whether Wando is the right tool for that team.
There's no universal answer. What is certain: paying for a bigger plan doesn't fix adoption. If the team doesn't use the small plan, they won't use the big one. The 14-day trial is exactly for detecting this before spending money.
- Ask the team to use the inbox for a full week before deciding.
- Write down why they go back to their phone: that tells you whether the problem is the AI, access, or the workflow.
- A bigger plan doesn't fix a lack of adoption.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change plans after paying?+
Yes. You manage it from the admin panel, in the Subscription section. There you can see your account status and activate or change your plan. Current prices are at wando.online/pricing.
What happens if I don't activate a plan when the trial ends?+
Access to the product becomes limited and you see a notice to activate. Your contacts, conversations and settings are not deleted: when you activate, you pick up where you left off.
Does the free trial require a card?+
No. The 14 days start when you create your account and you don't need to enter a card to begin.
Does the 25% discount apply to any plan?+
It's a first-month discount. Details on how it applies per plan are at wando.online/pricing.
Can I use Wando with my team on the smallest plan?+
It depends on how many people handle the inbox. If there are two or more, it's worth looking at Pro. The number of agents per plan is detailed at wando.online/pricing.
Do the 14 trial days run from when I sign up or from when I connect WhatsApp?+
From when you create your account. If you take a while to connect WhatsApp, those days still count. That's why it's best to connect the same day you register.
Are Meta's WhatsApp costs included in the plan?+
No. Meta bills them separately and they vary by country and conversation type. The official details are in Meta's documentation; don't estimate them from memory.
If I downgrade, do I lose contacts or conversations?+
No. A plan change is a change in access level, it doesn't delete data. Before downgrading, check how many people use the inbox and whether you have active campaigns, because that can be affected.
What do I do if my team doesn't use Wando during the trial?+
Ask them to use the inbox for a full week before deciding. If they go back to their phones, note why: if it's because of the suggestions, the AI needs more corrections; if it's habit or access, a bigger plan won't fix it.
How long does Meta take to approve a new template?+
Up to 48 hours. It's the only timeframe Meta guarantees. If it's rejected, you have to fix the text and resubmit it.
